- What we collect
- Nothing that identifies you unless you give it to us. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.
- Cookies
- One cookie remembers the language you chose. The admin area uses a sign-in cookie for the site owner only.
- If you subscribe, we store your email address and language to send the daily briefing. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click. We never sell or share the list.
- Messages
- If you use the contact form, we store what you send (and your name and email if you give them) so we can read and reply. A salted hash of your IP address is kept only to stop spam.
- Articles you check
- When you paste a link or use the browser extension, the article address is sent to Both News to fetch and analyse it. The extension only reads the address of the tab you click it on, and only when you click. The analysis is public on the site, like any other report; it is not linked to you.
- Services we use
- Vercel (hosting, analytics), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (domain, email routing), Resend (email), and AI model providers through OpenRouter for the analysis.
- Contact
- Questions or deletion requests: contact@both.news or the contact page.
